This network is part of a collaborative effort between ISKME and nearly 60 master teachers and Common Core experts across California and the U.S. The network brings together openly licensed primary source texts, exemplar lessons and professional learning resources to support educators in addressing the Common Core math and literacy standards, specifically focusing on building textual evidence and constructing viable arguments through close reading of texts.

Launched in July 2014, TACCL is an 18-month project facilitated by ISKME, and supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Teacher Practice Networks Initiative. TACCL provides tools, training and resources to support cross-disciplinary teachers in creating integrated lessons that focus on students’ close reading and inquiry-based learning skills.
TACCL grew out of ISKME’s 2012-14 Primary Source Project, and builds on the tools and resources created from that project’s partnership with Common Core experts and master teachers across the U.S.
