CCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.D.10: Superior (3)

This object contains links to a variety of data collection activities. The range in rigor on Blooms taxonmy is wide. A search through the activities will reveal that this object could meet other CCSS levels in addition to those currently evaluated.

This is a fun way to get students excited about graphing. Having this pictorial form of data collection will help students understand data collection. This site has some of examples of glyphs one could use. This meets organizing and representing data, one part of 1.MD.4. After making the glyph ask students questions that interpret the data and make some comparative statements.

Uses glyphs instead of standard graphing.
