As far as a basic (pardon the pun) introduction to acids and bases goes, it is fine. There are some important things it does leave out. When it is discussing the pH scale, it neglects to mentions that a solution has a neutral pH of 7.0 only at 25 degrees Celsius. If the temperature changes, the pH of a neutral solution changes.
In addition, it mentions that Arrhenius theory cannot account for the fact that sodium bicarbonate can be basic, when in fact it can do so. The bicarbonate ion can react with the water to produce hydroxide ions in solution. This is exactly the Arrhenius definition of a base.
There are also some formatting errors in a couple of the equations at the beginning of the article. For an article that is supposed to be for post-secondary/undergraduate use, I think it leaves a lot to be desired and I don't think I could use it in my classes.
